The forecast said storms… but in the past every single time I cancel a session it ends up being the most amazing sunset, so we decided to go for it.

So we set out on our half mile hike to the top of the mountain and right as we got to the base the rain started to pour. We hid under a tree for what seems like forever but the rain stopped and we decided to just keep going with the session even though their hair and clothes were wet. Look, we did not just drive all that way and not go for it y’all!

We ended up getting some of the sweetest photos that evening and we are so happy we waited out the storm and went ahead with the photos.

This family has a special place in my heart and I hope their Ooma was smiling from heaven that night. If you know her… she was probably laughing her butt off at us fools. haha!
